​After years of writing in private, Meg began sharing her work publicly in 2022 through her newsletter, Stock Fiction. 

​

She is the author of See Dot Smile, the 2023 Watty award-winning novel set to make its official debut on February 9th, 2027 from Empress Editions, and Sweet Sixteen, a short story awarded honorable mention in the 2024 Writer's Digest Writing Competition.

With a diverse resume of jobs worked, passions explored, and dreams deferred, including decades of immersive experience in the theater, music, and culinary arts, Meg brings warmth and empathy to everything she creates. Her stories celebrate first love, big feelings, and the courage it takes to be seen.

Meg is also the writer, producer, and host of the podcast Talk Fiction with Meg Oolders.
